semkosoftware.com sets no cookies, runs no analytics or tracking scripts, and has no forms. We do not keep visitor logs.
The page's typeface is loaded from Google Fonts, so your browser sends Google its IP address and standard request details when it fetches the font. Google's handling of that is covered by Google's Privacy Policy.
Staff of our customer organizations can sign in to their organization's account with Google. We request Google's openid, email and profile permissions. Google may return basic profile information, including a profile-picture URL. We save only your name, your email address and whether Google has verified it, and a Google account identifier, in your organization's sign-in directory (operated for us by Amazon Web Services). Our software does not save or display your Google profile photo. These permissions give us no access to your Gmail, Drive, Calendar, contacts or any other Google data.
We use this information to sign you in, manage your access, and record who did what in the software. Your name or email address may appear in records visible to other authorized staff at your organization, and when you send an email to a guest from the software, your email address may be used as the reply-to address. These records can remain after your sign-in account is deleted.
We do not sell this information or use it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers that host and run the service, such as Amazon Web Services, with other authorized staff at your organization, and with the guests you email, as described above.
Our use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
You can remove our access at any time in your Google Account settings. To have your sign-in account deleted, ask your organization's administrator or write to us.
Retreat centers use our software to manage their own events, bookings, guests and billing. That information belongs to the retreat center. We store and process it on the center's behalf, under our agreement with them, and do not use it for our own purposes.
We use Amazon Web Services to host and process this information, including sending email through Amazon SES and generating documents. Online payments are processed through each center's own Stripe account. When staff use the built-in AI assistant, their messages and conversation history are sent to AWS Bedrock to generate responses, and when the assistant looks up live data, relevant guest, booking and billing information may be sent too.
Where enabled, we collect aggregate staff usage statistics by hour and feature. Account identifiers are used briefly in memory to count distinct users; the stored statistics contain no names, email addresses, account identifiers or IP addresses.
If you are a guest and have a question about your information, please contact the retreat center you booked with. We will help them answer it.
Information is encrypted in transit, and access to production systems is limited to the people who operate them.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
